Amazing Camels is the latest service provided by Amazing Animals www.amazinganimals.co.uk Our company has been working with the media since 1977, supplying trained zoo-type and domestic animals for film, TV, still photography, natural history documentary and live event clients. All our animals are housed in state-of-the-art customized enclosures that are not only up to the highest standards – they actually set standards for our industry. All our animal trainers are in possession of an Animal Trainers Certificate 1925 and our premises is licensed under the Dangerous Wild Animal Act 1976. We are inspected by West Oxfordshire District Council. We also have public liability insurance for £2,000,000.

Our Amazing Camels live at Amazing Animals’ premises, Heythrop Zoological Gardens. This unique facility – one of the largest of its kind in Europe - has been favourably reviewed by such associations as the American Humane Association. All their animals are under the veterinary care of International Zoo Veterinary Group.

Our directors are regularly involved in government level discussions on animals in the media, including the new Animal Welfare Bill. We are founding members of ACTA (Animal Consultants and Trainers Association), the UK’s first and only true trade association for animal trainers, coordinators and agents. Actively interested in furthering education, we were involved with PAWSI (Performing Animals Welfare Standards International) in the creation of NVQs (National Vocation Qualifications) and two of our employees are among this country’s very first NVQ A1 assessors for Animal Training and Animal Training in the Audiovisual Industry
